Hunter and Snov.io: built around finding emails

Hunter charges 1 credit for each email found and 0.5 credit to verify one, and nothing when it cannot find an address. Its Free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card. Hunter's price is on Hunter's own pricing page. UpLead vs Hunter sets the two plan by plan.

Snov.io charges 1 credit per prospect and 1 per email verification. Starter holds 1,000 credits, and paid plans include unlimited team seats. Its Trial plan renews every month with 50 credits.

Prospeo and Lusha: email credits and phone credits

Prospeo charges 1 credit for a verified email and 10 credits for a verified mobile number. Its help center says you are charged only when a valid result is returned. Starter holds 2,000 credits per user a month, and the Free plan gives 100 credits a month.

On Lusha an email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 5. Starter holds 400 credits a month, and its Free plan gives 40 credits a month with no credit card. Free B2B contact databases lines up every free plan.

Apollo.io and UpLead: email finding inside a contact database

Apollo.io splits credits into Email, Mobile and Export types, and its pricing page sends you to your account for what each action costs. UpLead's pricing page says one credit unlocks one contact for download or CRM export, with the email and the mobile direct dial. Essentials holds 170 credits a month for one user. On the Valid Only download setting, UpLead charges credits for valid emails only. How to find B2B leads covers the other routes to a first list.

A found email before the first send

UpLead's help center sorts emails into three statuses: Valid, Accept All and Invalid. With Accept All the server accepts every address, so full validation is impossible and the bounce risk is higher. UpLead's accuracy figures are its own claims, and its bounce article says the 95% figure does not guarantee zero bounces. How accurate a B2B contact database is compares what each vendor does after a bounce.

UpLead's 7-day trial holds 5 credits, enough to unlock 5 contacts and set their emails beside a free finder's output. The help center adds that payment details are entered at activation, and an account not canceled by day 7 is billed $890 annually for the Essentials Plan.
