Last reviewed October 30, 2026

Quick answerApollo.io and Lusha suit a team that wants a free plan; Snov.io Starter is $39 a month, billed monthly, with unlimited seats. UpLead stays the pick when one credit must unlock email and mobile together.

UpLead alternatives: the six picks and what they cost

The six UpLead alternatives and competitors for a small US team are Apollo.io, Lusha, Snov.io, Prospeo, Hunter and ZoomInfo. Five have a free plan or, at Snov.io, a renewing Trial plan that does not expire, so each is a free alternative to start with, and ZoomInfo has a trial. For comparison, UpLead Essentials is $99 a month, billed monthly, for 170 credits and one user, as read on October 30, 2026.

Apollo.io and Lusha: free plans before you pay

Apollo.io Free gives 75 credits per seat a month, and Basic is $65 per seat a month, billed monthly. Apollo.io splits credits into Email, Mobile and Export types and shows the cost of each action inside the account, which is its limit for a price comparison.

Lusha Free gives 40 credits a month with no credit card, and Starter is $49.90 a month, billed monthly. Lusha's limit is the phone credit: 1 credit reveals an email and 5 reveal a number. UpLead vs Apollo and UpLead vs Lusha set each against UpLead plan by plan.

Snov.io and Prospeo: low monthly prices, different credit units

Snov.io Starter is $39 a month, billed monthly, with 1,000 credits and unlimited team seats. Its limit is the unit mix: Snov.io counts credits, recipients (leads you contact) and enrichment tokens separately, and its Trial plan renews every month with 50 credits.

Prospeo Starter is $49 a month per user, billed monthly, and its Free plan gives 100 credits a month. Prospeo's limit is the mobile credit: 1 credit buys a verified email and 10 buy a mobile number, charged only when a valid result comes back.

Hunter for emails only, ZoomInfo for a quoted contract

Hunter prices its credits around emails: 1 credit finds one, 0.5 credit verifies one, and nothing is charged when it can find or verify none. Every plan allows unlimited users. Its Free plan gives 50 credits a month with no card and no time limit. Its paid-plan prices are on its own pricing page.

ZoomInfo prints no price. Pricing is a Get Pricing form, based on features, licenses and credit usage, and one credit is one profile export. ZoomInfo's trial page says the trial is typically 7 days with no credit card, and that terms may vary.

Which alternative fits which team

  • Apollo.io for per-seat pricing and a free plan.
  • Lusha for a buyer who mostly needs emails and wants 40 free credits a month.
  • Snov.io for unlimited team seats at Starter, $39 a month billed monthly.
  • Prospeo for per-user billing and 1 credit per verified email.
  • Hunter for emails found from a name and a company domain on a free plan.
  • ZoomInfo for a quoted contract, with a trial first.
  • UpLead when one credit must unlock a contact's email and mobile direct dial (a direct phone number) together, with Valid Only charging for valid emails only and single-user plans.

Set against these, UpLead offers no free plan, only a 7-day trial of 5 credits. Its help center says payment details are entered at activation and an account not canceled by day 7 is billed for the Essentials annual plan. Two roundups go wider: best B2B contact database for small business and free B2B contact database.
