Last reviewed October 30, 2026

ZoomInfo alternatives for small business: the six picks

Six alternatives suit a small team. Five print their prices, and Cognism sells by quote like ZoomInfo. Each vendor counts a credit its own way, so the table sets the credit rule and the seats beside the price. Every price is on monthly billing unless the cell says annual.

Why small teams look past ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo's pricing page prints no price. Its FAQ says pricing is based on features and functionality, the number of licenses and credit usage. Packaging follows the number of licenses and the level of data access, and its sales team sets payment frequency and options. The pricing page names three sales packages: ZoomInfo Professional, Copilot Advanced and Copilot Enterprise.

One ZoomInfo credit is one export of a professional or company profile. Some integrations carry a base cost and require a minimum purchase of bulk credits on install. UpLead vs ZoomInfo sets the two side by side, and ZoomInfo vs Apollo.io sets ZoomInfo beside Apollo.io.

UpLead and Lusha: credit databases with printed plans

UpLead's pricing page says a credit unlocks a contact for download or CRM export and gives access to the email and mobile direct dial. Essentials holds 170 credits a month on monthly billing, and the annual card holds 2,040 credits. Essentials and Plus are single-user accounts. Professional is the team account, by quote, annual billing only.

Lusha's credit rule is 1 for an email and 5 for a phone number. Its Free plan gives 40 credits a month with no credit card, and Starter holds 400 credits a month.

Apollo.io, Snov.io and Prospeo: free or low-cost entry

Apollo.io's Free plan gives 75 credits per seat a month, and every seat on an account is on the same plan. Snov.io's Starter holds 1,000 credits and prices recipients and enrichment tokens separately, and paid plans include unlimited team seats. Prospeo's Free plan gives 100 credits a month, and its plan credits are added per seat, so a second seller means a second user's price. Best B2B contact database for small business covers the wider shortlist.

Cognism: the quoted option with 5 seats

Cognism sells Standard and Pro packages with 5 seats included in each, and its pricing page prints no price. One credit reveals one contact, and a credit is used again only if that contact changes jobs. Cognism lists a free data sample on request and no free plan. It fits a team of about five that wants a quote. A team of one or two would hold seats it does not use.

ZoomInfo's trial page says no credit card is needed and the trial is typically 7 days. UpLead's 7-day trial asks for payment details at sign-up, and its help center says an account not canceled by day 7 is billed $890 annually for the Essentials Plan.
